I have been in private practice in the Charlotte area since 2005.  My love for working with people started while participating in my own families’ therapy when I was 16 years old.  Once I saw how therapy helped heal my parents’ marriage, I wanted to walk that journey with couples and families as well. 

 

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families struggling in areas of communication, life stage complications, and sexual diffculties.  I also enjoy working in the area of parenting and involving both children and teenagers with their parents in the counseling process.  

 

I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and enjoy working with teaching and training new therapists in the world of counseling.  One of my goals is to help counselors with both the logistics of caseload management, and also helping counselors discover their identity as a counselor.  As a private practice consultant, I enjoy working with women learning how to manage the role of a therapist and still work successfully in their home as well.  Please contact me to find out about ongoing consulting groups and one-on-one consulting packages.
