  • How much does counseling cost?
Counseling ranges in price for each therapist based on experience, training, and market pricing. My fee is $175 per 50 minute session.
  • Do you take insurance?
I am not on any insurance panels. I can provide a receipt for insurance purposes if you have out of network benefits.
  • What are your hours?
I see clients by appointment, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-6 and Fridays from 9-12.
  • What are your qualifications?
I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’ve been in private practice since 2005 working with individuals, couples and families.
  • What is your specialty?
Marriage and Family Therapy is my degree and background, although I do see individuals as well. I have completed level 3 practicum training in the Gottman Method and use that specialty in working with couples. I also enjoy working through parenting issues with spouses to help the family unit achieve more success.
  • What is Christian counseling?
I use the term Christian counseling to inform others of what worldview I naturally operate from. I work with people of all different faith backgrounds and do not use counseling as an avenue to discuss religious faith unless that is desired by the client.
  • Do you offer video sessions?
With established clients I offer video sessions through my Electronic Health System.
  • What’s your cancellation policy?
The full session fee will be charged unless the appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of the session. This allows me to schedule other clients who are waiting for open session times.
